What not to say when suggesting a DDAs CVs we get a tonne of suggestions for DDs, and with those come a variety of assertions as to why the piece should be featured as a DD. Some of these, particularly those that focus on things extrinsic to the art, really don't help get the art featured at all. In fact, sometimes the given reason can hinder the process instead. "The deviant worked really hard on this piece."
This is one of the most common extrinsic reasons I receive in DD suggestions, and the reason why it is so common is also the reason it is a bad one: it applies to just about everyone.
All artists who are even moderately serious about their work put a lot of time and effort into what they create. Those that seem to create difficult things with ease have put a lot of years of hard work into developing those skills.
