Artist's Comments

This is the final version of a Painting I did roughly four years ago. It's a portrait of the Lebanese singer Fairuz! ^_^ It was stored badly, so it got a bit damaged...

That’s a pretty stylish painting. Did you pick up the style from somewhere or come up with it yourself?

Critically the nostrils look a bit funny, and maybe the mouth could be a tiny bit more to the left, but that’s pretty minor.

I like it! :)

Did you really used to sign your name like that? With the little star and everything? :P

The painting style and errors are the way they are because I painted this quite a few years ago, so at the time I probably thought it looked pretty realistic...

... now I know better :( ...

And sadly, I still do sign my name like that, on occasion ;).

No, it's the range of responses that your last comment made me want to express. Only, I couldn't think of how to put them into words, so emotes had to suffice.
